DELIVERABLES FOR NSF PROJECT 0115103

A Sequence-Indexed Library of Insertion Mutations in the Arabidopsis Genome
Joseph R. Ecker, Principal Investigator
The Salk Institute for Biological Studies

YEAR 1 (September 1, 2001 - August 31, 2002)

  • The goal for year 1 is to isolate and sequence the insertions sites of ~75,000 T-DNA transformed plant lines and submit ~60,000 high quality sequence to GenBank
  • Send 0.1- 0.2 (2,500 to 5,000) seeds for each gene insertion mutant to the ABRC.

YEAR 2 (September 1, 2002 - August 31, 2003)

  • The goal for year 2 is to isolate and sequence the insertions sites of ~75,000 T-DNA transformed plant lines and submit ~60,000 high quality sequence to GenBank
  • Send 0.1- 0.2 ml (2,500 to 5,000) seeds for each gene insertion mutant to the ABRC.
